About me

Hello and 73! I'm Robert, a licensed radio amateur operating from Hyssna in the municipality of Mark, western Sweden. I received my amateur radio licence on 9 January 2023 and have been passionate about all aspects of the hobby ever since.

By profession I work as an aircraft and helicopter technician – a career that sharpens the same systematic, technical mindset that makes amateur radio so rewarding. I'm married and the proud father of three children.

My main interests on the air include HF shortwave operation, VHF/UHF local communication and DMR digital voice. I also run a personal DMR hotspot at home for flexible digital connectivity.
